I’m running the newest version of BitComet but it’s killing my memory. I’m using on average 220,000 kb. What gives? I’ve used other bt clients and they use like 6,000 kb. Any suggestions?

Downgrade to a stable version and stay with stable versions only. Don’t upgrade until another stable version is announced. Newer versions can have problems with different systems.
