When I burn mp3’s I’ve downloaded, sometimes they come out great but other times I play them back and there are noises all through them. I’m using an older version of Roxio Easy CD creator. Does that have anything to do with this?
:huh: Very strage my friend i allways use nero never any problems try that if you have it any nero program will do young or old 
Dont try to install Nero if you have Roxio already installed, they will conflict with each other.
If you want to use Nero you should uninstall Roxio first.
as an alternative you could use Windows Media Player to make audio cds.
Make sure to choose the option “Audio CD” so that it converts the mp3/wma files into .cda

Scratch that. I had the same problem. It did improve once I downloaded Roxio Easy Media 9.
