This is a VIRUS, and a VERY nasty one.

This so called Anti Virus displays virus warnings on your computer when you visit an infected site. The message says you have a virus and click here for a free scan. You then install this “so called antivirus” and it proceeds to infect your computer.

Next thing you know, your browser is hijacked, and the only site you can load is theirs, which asks for a credit card number to fix what they did to your computer. I recently spent several hours removing this from my daughters computer.

I scanned with McAfee, Kaspersky, Spybot, Ad Aware and xoftspy. Each one found bits and pieces the others missed. I’m still not 100% confident that its Gone completely.

WinAntiVirus 2006 is an almost LETHAL VIRUS, that will render your entire computer system useless.

I have personally received news advising of this virus (received the message from the Government, no less).

DO NOT DO ANYTHING SILLY, WITH ANY OF THESE LINKS!!

It’s for your own good (and if you can send e-mails to anyone else, that you know - you’ll be doing them a favour as well).
