automatic closing of windows explorer

everytime i open “My Computer”, then go to ‘Tools’ and then to “Folder Options”, the computer freezes for about 2 seconds and 'My computer" is closed..

this doesnt only happen with “My computer”, its just whenever i’m viewing files and folders or whatever (for eg. My Documents, C: drive, etc etc..)

main point is, when i try to go to “Folder Options”, it always closes

any solution??

There can be many reasons for this including malware/virus

Make sure to scan your PC for virus with your antivirus

also use Spybot S&D and Adaware SE to scan for malware

If removing malware/virus doesnt help then your gonna need to do some research
