Hi I am new to this forum. I use a bit comet 1.37 and am very happy with it. Can anyone please tell me how to automatically prevent bitcomet from restarting downloads once a certain period of inactivity in internet connection occurs . To be more clear if I am using my client and if my modem is restarted or power is out and when it comes back how to prevent bitcomet from automatically starting again…THANKYOU
BitComet won’t stop running torrents if your connection is interrupted, and as soon as the peer connections are resumed, the process of uploading and downloading will resume.
I can’t think of any way to change this nor can I think of any advantage of doing so.
Whenever there’s a power outtage (more than a simple “blink”), my computer shuts down completely, thus, ‘closing/shutting down’ any open/running programs… wouldn’t his do the same?
