what does it mean and what good will it do you if you ban their IP’s???

im guessing banning peoples IP isnt something nice so havent tried it YET!
In context of using bitcomet, an IP address will be banned if it repeatedly sends corrupt or malicious data. You can optionally ban a specific IP address, but odds are anyone doing this doesn’t have good cause to do it, so I strongly recommend you let bitcomet handle your peers.
