I was told by cable provider to stop Copyrighted downloads? Am I required to stop? And how are they tracking me?
No one here can give you legal advice but in general internet providers receive complaints from anti p2p groups that use torrents in order to gather IP addresses. They have no way of knowing who you are so they complain to the internet providers some of whom pass the complaint onto their customers.
