Hello - I’m a newbie and have spent the last 3/4 hour searching the faqs etc. But I can’t seem to find the answer. I have downloaded BitComet 0.7 and the torrent I want. However when I ask it to download it says that ‘bit comet cannot open torrent’ and gives me the torrent name. It is the same for any torrent that I download. I’m running Norton antivirus but haven’t seen any error messages and am on the latest version of Windows xp home edition and IE7. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Thanks in advance :blink:
A little more info is needed.
What error, specifically, are you getting? And on which torrents? An url or two would be good here. What procedure are you following to attempt to open the torrents in question?
