Hi there. I just reformatted my computer and everything is back to factory defaults as far as patches updates etc. Ive downloaded BitCom and started to DL some stuff. Now I used to be able to download like 10 things at once, and be able to play Xbox live or online pc games with no lag or anything. But now if Im downloading something on BitCom, it not only slows my internet gaming, but general IE browsing. Ive tried forwarding the Comet ports but didnt help. Please Help!!!
What versions of bitComet are you using? You should be using BitComet 0.70. Go through our settings guide and double check all the settings.
Now this is important. With bittorrent you should only be running a few .torrents at a time unless you have a very large upload that isn’t throttled. Because if you’re not giving more than a few kbs upload to a .torrent the swarm will snub you and drop your download speed.
