this problem is usually caused by your firewall blocking bit comet. You would need to give it full inbound/outbound in your firewall.

I have seen quite a lot of new users that attempt to run a torrent with no seeds or peers and wonder why its not working. If you don’t know what this means, then you really need to do some reading about bit torrent…

If you have a healthy torrent, and a correctly installed bit comet, and have given it access in your firewall/router, then it will work.
None of the members who posted in this topic have even mentioned if the torrect is active, if they have a router, if they are using a firewall…
To simply say “it don’t work” and want us to tell you how to fix it is not possible.
