Does anyone know how to delete the account which I no longer use ?
I looked all over the bitcomet website and cannot find any function to delete or request to delete the account.
Can someone help ?
I’m sorry but this is a free service and the we don’t have the manpower to have staff to add/delete or adjust users accounts for no reason whatsoever. If you don’t use the account then just ignore it, it’s certainly not doing any harm to leave it dormant, and should you ever decide to use it in the future it will hopefully be there for you, and if not it won’t matter to anyone.
Wel the thing is my real name shows up
i was under the impression that this was mainly for setting up a account
but it shows it on my profile
and this is wrong IMO
where not talking about man power here.
the fact that this is delete feature not build into the site is very concerning
No one can see your real name, I’m administrator and I can’t even see your real name. Try logging out and look for yourself.
If you want the forum account deleted I’d be glad to do it but I have no access to delete a bitcomet account which this thread is regarding.
It’s technically impossible to delete an account. Just leave it alone and it won’t cause you trouble in any aspects.
I think there is no such process to delete the account…
