Hello there , i’ve installed Bitcomet 0.70 on my win xp system and it doesn’t seem to connect at all. i have sophos antivirus and i’m connected through halls of resident lan connection. i had to configure the university’s antivirus(sophos) with my university login and had a pc technician to have it check before i connected it on the lan. what should i do ?
So if you want to browse the net you have to login to your university’s proxy correct?
-if this is the case then you might want to find out what their policy is on p2p filesharing because anything you do on the net can be easily linked to your login name, or your LAN address if its static.
-I would find out if there are other people in your dorms that use p2p and ask them how they do it.
