bitcomet internal browser and links do not function

Didn’t see it on the page yet so heres my bug posting.

I updated to .79 and went to click the homepage link and release note link and no response. when i clicked the about button and clicked the link from there it said “specified file was not found”. I then went to try to find the BitComet browser and it is no longer there. When i tried to search for a file through the search feature nothing happened.

Same with me, I updated and cannot see the browser as well.

Hi Guys,

I had the browser issue, although not the hanging / dying / generally not working problem.

In ‘Preferences, Appearance, WhenBitComet Running’ there is a setting for ‘Open URL in BitComet’

I had this ticked in 0.78.

When 0.79 was installed over 0.78 it appeared to reset this option to un-ticked. This seems to be the reason the browser wasn’t active.

Have a look - see if that’s tha case for you.
