since yesterday I have had trouble downloading new tasks. every time I start a new task, an error message appears: Torrent file decoding failed! Please try to re-download the torrent!
then I re-downloading the task again, tried a new one, even reinstalled bitcomet but does not solve the problem.
Have you seen this error before? how can i solve it?

It’s a fairly frequent error that happens when something goes wrong on the index site.
It means that the format of what was received doesn’t conform to the required structure of a .torrent file.
It may be useful to actually open the .torrent file with Notepad or a similar text editor, because it may contain clues to the problem. For example, I have seen errors from the site’s database written into it. This may give you something useful to report to the site.
If the structure looks normal (Take a look at a successful .torrent file to see what “normal” looks like), it’s always possible that the download was simply garbled, so it’s worth trying again once or twice.
