Bitcomet roadmap

I see in a previous post that you are not yet ready to go down the multipath client path, I was wondering if you had any update on this. A linux client would be great as I’m planning to go down the linux path and I’d like to keep using bitcomet.

Actually that would be multiple OS path. And its been said that a Linux client is quite a ways down the road. So either stick with Windows, do a duel boot OS, or use Wine.

Can’t do that, looks like i need to change client :frowning:

I don’t know why you have to switch over to Linux. But that leaves you with Azureus and KTorrent.

it’s the future!!! at least that’s what my company tells me

If its a work computer then I can understand to a degree. They probably don’t want to pay for copies of Windows.

And as for the future, Vista has a Unix overlay, so it will run normal Windows programs and Unix/Linux programs in the same OS.

aria2 is a great unix command line client for bittorrent. I believe KGet (included in KDE) is also going to support bt.
