Whenever I use the search option for torrents on Bitcomet it takes quite awhile to load. It does say that DHT is enabled in my preferences and DHT connected node 1379 when it finally loads the page. Any ideas? Applied setting as suggested on setting up Bitcomet as well.
Please specify which version you are using when asking for assistance.
Also, if you have torrents running, it is normal for other web functions to be slower. If you are saying that it is slow, but you can search direct in your browser faster, then this might be an issue.
Suspect
It is Bitcomet 0.70 that I’m using and yes,searching in my direct browser was faster than searching with Bitcomet. I think I solved the problem as I’ve reduced “Max Half Open Connections”. Pages seem to load faster now.
