Let’s take a closer look at this
BitComet Ultra Accelerator -… is an effective plug-in for BitComet P2P.
Wait a sec, Bitcomet doesn’t support plugins, and doesn’t have a pluggable IF. Whatever this does, it cannot do it that way, so what’s really going on, and why did they lie about it?
The program includes most modern technology that is used to increase speed of BitComet downloads.
Specifically, what is this mysterious modern technology? If this is something proprietary, then why aren’t they selling it? And why aren’t they licensing it to Rnysmile?
But if it’s NOT proprietary, how is it that only they know about it?
And again, exactly what is it? How does it make a maxed-out connection somehow go faster?
Also the number of your download sources will be improved - you can have more seeds available than normally revealed by your BitComet.
Sounds good, but how? Bitcomet will incorporate every seed that the tracker knows about, and every seed that it can find via DHT. So where are these myserious other seeds coming from, and how is is that the tracker doesn’t know about them?
My take is that they don’t exist to be found.
FEATURES: -Finished and wrong files are cleaned automatically;
They are, by BitComet, without this thing.
-Finds more sources at user-specified intervals;
Again, how? Wait – “user specified intervals”?? That would mean that it manually scrapes the tracker. Tracker sites HATE that and will possibly toss you for doing it excessively. Every time you scrape, the tracker tells your client, “Here, now don’t bother me again for X minutes”. If you disregard that, you contribute to tracker overload, and without really finding any more peers thanyou would have if you’d waited as you were told to wait.
-Interface is easy to use and good-looking; -Interface is easy operable by a system tray icon; -Automatically resumes paused downloads; -Configuration from last run is saved and auto loads on start-up;
BitComet does this, not the add-on.
-Clean and free, without any adware or spyware.
They are going to say what exactly, if that happens not to be true? “Yeah, it’s loaded with every piece of adware we could squeeze in”?
Oh, never say that the people who would sneak spyware onto your system would actually (gasp!) LIE about doing it???!?!
I’m not saying that this thing contains either. I’m saying that if it does, are they going to be up front about that, or are they going to claim it doesn’t no matter what the truth is?
does it work?!
What do you think?
