I have version 0.70 and I was wondering what the difference was between UDP and the one I have.
PS: I first saw the UDP thing on my download, I was connected to one peer with BitComet UDP as their client

BitComet’s had UDP support for several versions now, this is nothing new. But very few trackers actually use UDP, and for those that do it’s mostly optional. There’s no terribly good reason to prefer it, and maybe a couple not to.
There might be some strange network constraints for some people, that make it advantageous, but that will be rare. UDP might, probably will increase your error rate. But if it’s your only option, then that’s acceptable.
