Bug report when I open Bitcomet

Hello.

First I want to say that I love Bitcomet, I’ve been using it since 2005 and i don’t want to change especially for client like µ…

And if i came here today it’s because I want my bitcomet back. I’ve got a very old computer, running on Windows XP, and I have to format and reinstall windows sometimes… Today I’ve done it but for the first time, when I tried to install bitcomet, it sent me a bug report… Installation is complete but I can’t launch it, there is always the bug report.

Unfortunately I can’t copy/paste what the bug report say but there is a file with a bug report and I can show it to you :

Hello again. I found an old installer of Bitcomet 1.32 and for unknown reason, it works.

I updated Bitcomet until 1.35 and it says there is no more update so I guess 1.36+ are not compatible with windows xp !

But I’ll stay on 1.35 !

As far as I’m aware they all work with XP. Are you installing 32bit versions? Also make sure the file fully downloaded or download it by torrent so you can be certain.

You can also try deleting your bitcomet.xml file before installing in case you have some options set that are causing a crash.
