Can you run Bitcommet in a limited Xp user account?

I cant get bitcomet to open torrents in a non administrator account in win xp sp2,

I log into a limited xp user account (non admin)

I click on a torrent link,

open file with bitcomet,

click ok on the “task properties…” pop up, the pop up that shows all the the torrent files,

then i get a error popup that says “can’t open torrent file: c:\program files\bitcomet\torrents\0.torrent”

and I’m left with a stopped torrent,

I right click on it and press start but it does nothing.

Bit comet works fine when im logged into xp with a administrator account,

is there any way to get it working in a limited user account?

that’s odd. bitcomet works for me just fine with a limited account.

did you try saving the torrent onto your desktop and open the torrent from there instead?
