Can't get Windows Defender to run an auto virus scan (Win8)

I recently reinstalled BitComet and it no longer runs a virus check after completing a download. I use Windows Defender on Windows 8.1.

Any help would be apprecated, GS

Check…

Options>virus scan

If bitcomet cannot autodetect your AV, you’ll need to enter the execute parameters manually.
