the bitcomet icon is active on my taskbar and i am able to download, but I can’t see the Bitcomet window. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling and i looked on your forum and FAQ but i can’t see a solution. Can anyone help? many thanks
Did you left click on the task bar icon? That toggles between on and off screen

It could be a fault in windows itself. Occasionally I have occasional problems accessing some apps but I run the developers’ version (think beta) with weekly updates.
Ty opening a command prompt as admin and use the following command
sfc /scannow

Worst case scenario - format 😄 and re-install
I had the same problem a while ago. I turned out something called “UAC Virtualization” had been turned off. Fix that and you should be back in business.
