hi im running windows XP pro and bitcomet 0.75. cant start download for some reason. my modem is SIEMENS SPEEDSTREAM 4200. im not sure what is happening. this is my first time using bitcomet and the download just stays at a blue arrow. please help
There could be several reasons this is happening.
The most common is that your torrent has no seeders (dead torrent).
You can feel free to try one of these open office torrents, they usually run very fast…

If you still cannot get it to work, another possibility is you have a firewall blocking Bit Comet.
Also, you should be aware that our newest STABLE version is .70. Although we have many happy members using .75 (far better then .71-74), but we are unable to support this version, so our recommendation is you install .70 if your version isn’t working on your system.
If you want to discuss this version further, please do so in the pinned post specific to this version, as we need to keep these posts together until the new client is released in a stable version.
