which is better to burn a Divx movie? cd or dvd?

i know they have different mgbs but a dvd is a waste if the movie is only 700meg.

will they both have same quality?

they will have the exact same quality as far as i can tell. i use divx all the time and have watched movies on both cd and dvd and i can’t tell the difference. the only time i use dvd’s now is if i want to put four or more movies on to one disc.
