Columns, Fields, Widths, Length, options are unstable

For example,

  1. We make changes in the appearance by hiding VIP, Comments, Snapshots, Preview with help of drag option.

Once we exit/shutdown and open the bitcomet these changes are not being reflected.

Again we need to do from the start.

  1. In all the tabs(Statistics,Peers,Files, etc) we are setting specific column width/lenght based on our convenience

Once we exit/shutdown and open the bitcomet these changes are not being reflected.

Again we need to do from the start.

  1. We are adjusting left pane width (Channels/Bookmarks) and height of our profile info(bottom)

Once we exit/shutdown and open the bitcomet these changes are not being reflected.

Again we need to do from the start.

Please let us if there is a feature which will remember all the changes/settings.

If there ain’t it would be great if you could add in the next release.

Thank you

First question, exactly how are you exiting bitcomet?

Second, it sounds like you may be collapsing the collumns instead of disabling them. Instead try to “right click” on the header and uncheck any you don’t want.

Thank you Admin for responding.

Yes, I was collapsing the columns.

Now I unchecked, it’s working fine.

Thanks for the help.

One more question,

Why BitComet is not recognized by windows search?

OS: Windows 10

Version: BitComet 1.40 64bit

When I start to type first letter of apps which are installed, windows used to show in the search results.

But it’s not happening with BitComet, whether it’s first letter or fully typed.

Please look into it.

PFA

  1. Normal app search

  2. First half typed in search field but no results

  3. Fully typed in search field but no app result. The first BitComet best match result which it’s showing is a web result not an app result. When clicked it redirects to browser with search result.

Please let me know if there is a solution.

Sorry, I don’t use windows 10, You’d have to ask this in a windows support forum, but I’ll leave this topic open and you can see if anyone else cares to reply to it.

Same problem I once tried to explain:

http://www.cometforums.com/topic/12797860-panels-and-columns-resizing/page__view__findpost__p__73982

This member’s problem was resolved, if you read his last post he got it working correctly, but then had an unrelated question about windows 10 that I referred him elsewhere to resolve.
