Thanks so much, just happy to find a browser so fast and so good…wondering why so few people know about it ?

itsblee, thank you for your support.

CometBird is developed from source code of Firefox, so it’s safe, secure and also stable. And we add several features we think user-friendly to it. Glad that you like it.

Thank you for the information as I will continue to use Cometbird with more and more confidence with the support .

Hi there itsblee!

Yes, CometBird is a great web browser. In fact, personally, I think it’s the current best web browser just after Mozilla Firefox. Figure out that CometBird is the Mozilla Firefox based web browser that most quickly updates after every single Firefox’s release. The delay is just about a week or so.

wondering why so few people know about it ?

It’s just because it’s not spreading through word of mouth widely yet. I knew CometBird because of this web page from the very same Mozilla [it’s strange but I just checked and CometBird does not appear in that web page. Never mind, I just emailed the Mozilla.org webmaster to encourage adding CometBird], but I think CometBird needs a Wikipedia article in every language in which the browser is available.

Another cool idea would be localize ALL the CometBird’s default add-ons and bring them at AMO, so any Mozilla Firefox user can use them as well. If BitComet releases all the CometBird’s default add-ons at AMO, they could include into the description of any add-on someting like This add-on comes out of the box with the CometBird web browser and link to CometBird’s web site. Do you have any idea of the HUGE number of visitors from all around the world that AMO has every single day?! By releasing all the add-ons at AMO, CometBird will obtain a lot of spreading in return! Just think about it.

But, yes, CometBird is one of the top most secure web browser that you can find, doubtless.

LOL, I’m quoting myself.

Well, I finally got mail from Mozilla.org. I’ll copy & paste the e-mail here:

Thank you for contacting us about CometBird. We have included this in our complete list of all Mozilla-based applications at:

https://developer.mo…ed_Applications

We use this full list to identify applications we want to feature on the www.mozilla.org site and we’ll certainly consider CometBird for a future feature.

If you’re involved with the creation of CometBird, we are going to be sending out a survey soon to people who create Mozilla-based applications. Just send me your name and preferred email and we’ll send you the survey when it’s ready.

David.

So, I need someone from BitComet to send me a PM or an e-mail (I think administrators have access to the Comet Forums user’s e-mail address DB) in order to contact Mr David from Mozilla. I will pass him/her Mr David’s e-mail address so BitComet be able to take the survey.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, KNTRO, I have contacted David about the survey, hope he will reply me soon.

We hope, my lady.

When he replies you, tell us, so we can confirm two things:

■ First, that the BitComet Development Team will take the survey.

■ Second, that David didn’t clean forgot to back to work…

I thank your wholeheartedness about the communication. I appreciate that.

Best regards,
