hello, just asking if those bitcomet download accelerator programs actually work. seems that it LOWERS my download speed rather than speed up. is this some kind of adware promotional thing or am i getting my config messed up altogether?
if they really don’t work, maybe someone can post this in an FAQ or guide for other newbies. shucks i should have come here sooner and not patched my stupid half-open connection thing. ah well, off to windows update for me.

but I heard that it contains spyware
and I guess that Bitcomet creators did their best
so use it at your own risk
patching the half-open connection limit is not necessarily a bad thing, and it can slightly increase your speeds.
there are no bitcomet accelerators that work, they just contain spyware which will actually slow down your connection
The only thing to do is to optimize Bitcomet’s settings and you can do this through our Settings Guide(link in my sig)
