I am started with new PC and sorry forgot to measure and set proper speeds. Now I do this and results are:measured download speed 491,1 kB/s and set speed 400 kB/s

If You can tell me is thise settins OK or not?

TuuS, keep in mind that in Europe and most of Asia, a decimal is written in the form of a “comma”, whereas in N. America and in some parts of the UK a “period” is used, instead…
(eg.) 1.99 € = 1,99 €
…and, to add further confusion between cultures, the “comma” is also written in the top (as opposed to the bottom) half… such as…
(eg:) 1’99 €

Sorry! Measured speeds are 491 and 31 kB/s. I set 400 and 25 kB/s. First are downloads and seconds are upload figures.

Well, the math on this is very simple. You usually limit the upload speed at 80% of the tested upload capacity, so you’ll need to multiply with 0.8 whatever upload speed you measured.
Just make sure that the test site gives you the results in KB/s or MB/s not in Kb/s or Mb/s or else you’ll have to manually transform speeds from b (bits) to B (bytes) before multiplying by 0.8, since BitComet measures speeds in bytes multiples.
To get a rough quick transformation you’ll have to divide by 8 the tested upload speed (if it’s given in b/s) to get it in B/s.
You do not mandatorily need to limit your download bandwidth, unless you want to reserve some bandwidth for other applications which you will use in parallel with BitComet.
