I have downloaded dvd rip pack from isohunt and when I looked in the downloads I didn’t understand a bit of it. How do you apply this to a back up cd to then use to copy dvds?
Please don’t post questions in the “how to and guides” section.
I will move this topic for you.
As for the torrent you have downloaded, we have no idea what is included in it, only you, or the torrents author have this information.
I would recommend you open any .txt or .nfo files included (.nfo can be opened in notepad)

There is no short or easy course on this subject. Digital video and digital recording are complicated subjects. You’ll just have to educate yourself, or resign yourself to relying on DVD rips from other people. Afterdawn.com and cdfreaks.com are both good sites with a ton of tutorial information, but there is a great deal to learn.
So you either face up to spending 6 months of your free time in the deep end of the learning curve, or decide you don’t want to know that badly, and forget about it.
kluelos,
I think your overstating the learning curve a bit, but your advice is sound.
The first thing you should do is figure out what programs you have, and what they do.
These “packs” often come in compressed archives which need to be extracted.
Unless you can tell us exactly what you have, then I suggest you see assistance in the forum of the torrent site that hosted the file, or of the tracker of that torrent.

thanks for the advice..I think, sounds like yous were having a go at me though. I’m only new and was curious but I don’t want to know that badly and have deleted the torrent and will get what I was after another way.
Sorry I posted in wrong section ![]()
