Torrent sites come and go, you just have to find one you like, and use it. Everytime one shuts down, a few new ones pop up.
BitComet has nothing at all to do with file sharing websites, it only lists some of them to help the users, so if you want to know why a site is shut down, try doing a search on google. Torrentfreak.com is a good website for p2p news.
