2 days ago i was downloading at about 150kb/s-250kb/s…today im lucky to break 40kb/s…i called my sevice provider and then said everything was fine…is there something wrong with your server?
What are you talking about?
The Bittorrent network dosen’t have any central server like HTTP. It only have a tracker that provides different IPs to you. It’s a P2P network, and that means that there are a lot of people that are sharing a file. When you have downloaded 100% of that file, you will share it too. (This is called “Seeding”).
An issue about a slow download speed as this is not related to the BitComet client, but the torrent and tracker.
It sounds like you have gotten a torrent without many seeders. Right now you’re a “leecher”, but when you have downloaded it 100%, you’re “seeder”, and don’t delete the torrent. If you share to a U/D ratio of 1.1 before you delete your torrent file, you are keeping the torrent healthy.
