When I install bitcomet and emule plugin for it, I remember once I saw the emule plugin within bitcomet. But when later I removed and reinstalled them, I can never manage to make emule plugin showing up in bitcomet. To be clear, I understand that the plugin should show up in otpions dialog of bitcomet, but it does not.
all are latest version. The bitcomet version is 1.26, the plugin is v0.59a

Emule plugin can’t work in Simplified Chinese OS from BitComet 1.26 version, since SARFT has forbidden emule sharing in Mainland China.
The development team won’t open this plugin to Simplified Chinese users, but once it is open for use, you will know from the changelog of a future version.
Only when your OS language and BitComet language are English, emule plugin will show up.
I’m wondering if it would be possible to secretly develop a “patch” or “hack” to force emule plugin to enable, then “leak” the patch into the torrent community.
As long as the patch wasn’t an “official” bitcomet product, there would (most likely) be no legal problems for bitcomet, however I understand very little about the Chinese legal system.
TUUS, I understand your point, but it’s a tense time in China that the authority pays high attention on no-Copyright files sharing.
The development team won’t consider to open this feature now, but maybe develop a patch in the future to enable this plugin and keep it untraceable to BitComet.(Its really annoying that the government policy changes all the time…
