Ever since i got this i can’t view anything on mtv.com. Its just a black screen. I was wondering if it has to do with bitcomet or if its a different problem? thanks.
BitComet itself does not affect your web browser directly.
The MTV home page is one of those annoying Shockwave Flash animations, which hog a lot of bandwidth and take a long time to load. They show a background, in this case black, while they’re loading. BitComet’s use of bandwidth could slow that loading down, if you’ve got a particularly active download going. If you haven’t configured it properly, it can also interfere with the loading process itself. See the settings guide to make sure you’ve configured it correctly.
