Can anyone help with this for the following torrent

Looking at the file list, it is split between avi files for each episode, but there are other metadata files.
I was wondering, are the metadata files useful for anything or are they completely unnecessary :huh: .

above a little inaccurate, files are xml files and are created in a subdirectory called metafiles within the main download folder
