why is it when i spend a few hours downloading a large file it says passworded go to this site and get the password when u register what sort of twat puts these files up for sharing its pissin me off
So do the community a favor: when you find one of these, go back to the originating site and post a comment letting people know what this is, so others (at least those who do check the comments) know not to waste their time on it.
some sites do this to force people to register.
Some require you to install addware/spyware or worse.
You can avoid this by getting your torrents from relyable sources, but you will still come across this crap now and then.
DO NOT EVER install anything on your computer in order to obtain a password, or I assure you that you WILL be sorry.
