i still am not sure how to get the free trail… Can someone explain it to me?

You can earn upto 120 points per day for being logged in, and for data uploaded to other peers.
You simply have to earn enough points, over time, to qualify for the free trial. It will take a long time to earn enough to qualify, so this rewards long-term users.
BitComet tried allowing all users access to the free trial and the result was bad for everyone. With 2.5 million people online using bitcomet each day, the potential for crashing our servers is great if we allowed all to have unlimited access.
This system was still in beta testing at the time and we knew we had to regulate this so we set the requirement to users with a score of 80,000 or higher. This has since been lowered to 40,000 and probably won’t be changed again until development on our Anonymous download feature is complete. Then when things settle down, the limit will continue to be lowered.
There may be other offers introduced too, we’ve discussed many idea, but at the moment our efforts are focused on developing the service and making it stable, so stay tuned and any news will be posted in the forum.
