Freezing files cant start or delete

Windows 8.1 wireless modem bitcomet 64 bit avg antivirus. I have 2 tasks I cant get to start or delete and it freezes up bit comet as soon as i click on it. Both dwnloads are at 0.0 percent,

I have tried to reinstall bitcomet several times and still the same problem.

Try deleting or renaming the downloads.xml file before starting bitcomet, it will remove all tasks.
