  1. it was impossible to open bitcomet.exe to copy it to the program directory after having it downloaded with bitcomet and AFTER having exited it. ==> error copying bitcomet.exe Cancel, ignore or retry (or something like that and the same for another file… )

to fix the problem, i IGNORED the changes, and then reinstalled it ==> works

perhaps a problem with the downloaded file…?

perhaps the Bitcomet process was still running in the background closing network connections.

After you exit Bitcomet it can take a little while for the process to actually close.
