Hello, my name is Tom and im new useing bitcomet and i just today when i download it got a problem when i downloaded a video and i wanted to watch some of it before it was done, and when i chosed a program to open the file with i chosed wrong and now i can’t open it with a nother program, please help me to change the program so i can watch it when i downloading it!

Okey, so im useing Windows Xp and i wanna open VLC mediaplayer to play the movie.
Bitcomet is used to download the video. Once it has been downloaded, Bitcomet’s job is done, and indeed, Bittorrent’s job is done.
Your issue has to do with your system and nothing to do with bittorrent.

What exactly do you mean by that?
Has the file association changed or what?
Right click the task and select “Open Directory”, then right click the file you want to open, select “Proprieties”, on the “Open with..” line click the “Change” button and select VLC from that list, if it’s not listed, click “Browse” and browse to VLC’s executable. Or you can open VLC and go to Tools → Preferences… Interface and Association Setup.
