HI, i downloaded half life 2 and i open it with IzArc, i then clicked on checkout which makes a new folder in downloads, i then click launcher which launches the game and works. i then start a new game and works for about a minute then a message comes up and says connection to steam servers lost, could not acquire necessary game files.

Does any one know what i have to do?

You will most likely need a Steam account to register before you can start to play games, you get one of these when you purchase the game.
