when my dl was finished, it started hash checking. at 59% during the hash check, i clicked stop. will this mess up the files at all or are they safe?
stopping the hash check won’t “mess up” your files, but its not a good idea to bypass the hash check. This is done to double check that all pieces have completed sucessfully and not corrupt, so even though the files are prob ok, you cannot be sure, since you didn’t allow the process to complete.
