Hello,
I’m using Windows XP SP2, BitComet 0.70, with the Kaspersky firewall. I only have one computer at home, so I use a modem for DSL, no router.
I started using the Kaspersky firewall a few days ago and there was no problem. But today all the “remote” in the initiation in the peer tab are gone. In the firewall, I have already made rules to allow for BitComet all TCP and UDP activity. I wonder what’s going on all of a sudden. Please advice.
In BitComet’s logs, it says (I replaced some numbers with X for privacy):
Windows XP WF Status: TCP Port is not opened in Windows Firewall.
Windows XP WF Status: add TCP port in Windows Firewall Succeed.
Windows XP WF Status: UDP Port is not opened in Windows Firewall.
Windows XP WF Status: add UDP port in Windows Firewall Succeed.
