I got the same message. I tried to download and open it yesterday. Maybe a problem with the download ?? Sorry I can’t help you.

Download bitcomet 7 on to the harddisk. Quit bitcomet and install ver 7. That did it for me, good luck.

is that the same version as bitcomet 0.70?
thats what i got at the moment
you get this message because your bitcomet is running while you are tring to install the new version.
quit BC, open task manager kill bitcomet.exe from there if exist then install.
