We tried giving free trials to all users. The problem is we has such a huge number of users that we weren’t prepared for, so no good came of it. However, even without vip, bitcomet can download at least as fast as any bittorrent client, and often faster.
Vip will be of most help to those on connections with very limited upload speed and it’s a much easier option compared to other more complicated and expensive options such as operating a dedicated remote bittorrent server.
