I have downloaded a file already, and I usually stop them from uploading, but now I want to be able to share with others while I’m not using my computer.
When a task finishes, it starts to upload (Shows a orange up arrow). After I stop it, it changes to the green circle. From here, I don’t know how to get the file to upload again. I have looked everywhere. When I hit start, it just shows the two blue arrows going in opposite directions and says “Connecting…” under status.
when you press start, it should begin seeding (uploading)
If it continues to say “connecting”, then there might be a problem with the tracker, give it time to run, and see if it clears itself up.

If you want to “reseed” a torrent after removing it from bit comet.
Start the torrent just as you would to download it…
Besure the files are in your default location (or select a save location where they are). Bit comet will now scan (rehash) the files, and when done will begin seeding.
