How do I seed if I no longer have the task?

How can I seed a file that I already downloaded if I no longer have the task in my torrent history? I bought a new hard disk and transferred some files from the old one. Obviously have a new Windows and had to reinstall BitComet. I just don’t want to download the stuff all over again in order to seed it.

As long as you have the downloaded files and they are in the correct location you can start the torrent but don’t select “download now”, then do a manual hash check and it should progress to 100% and then you can seed. If it reads 0% after the hashcheck completes you don’t have the files in the correct location.
