How fast will the VIP Acceleration be?

Hi:-)

I have tested the VIP acceleration, and it dident work at all.

But I understand that it is under beta testing, and I hope you can get it to work.

But for me, it was a wast off money:-)

I have VDSL and my dowload rate is over 3000KB/s.

So I wounder how fast will the acceleration be, Will there be any max download/upload rate?

You’re not a good candidate for it, having a pretty fast connection of your own. VIP acceleration is having a server with a really fast connection, that can seed quickly and appears to be a very desirable trading partner, acting in your place, in the swarm. It gets the torrent contents as fast as it can – which is presumably faster than you could get it yourself – and then sends it to you directly, (as a server doing a file transfer and not as a bittorrent download) as fast as your connection can accept it.

This is obviously going to be of much greater benefit to people with slower connections. If you already have a fast connection, one that’s going to be a desirable trade partner on its own, you won’t see much benefit.
