I’ve been wondering how many trackers we actually needed to download a movie since almost the majority of trackers kept being dead in many cases 
Sometimes, it seems that one or two well-performing trackers are enough to finish the download job.
Recommendation of effective trackers or tracker lists will be greatly appreciated

Only one tracker is needed and should be used, in fact trackerless torrents work fine too as long as all peers have dht enabled. Those that add long lists of trackers to torrents do so out of ignorance, but if you must make a torrent with multiple trackers be sure to register the torrent with each one of the trackers, otherwise it will only harass the tracker admins.
open-tracker systems are an exception, they can be added without registering the torrent.
