How to Set up Portforwarding & Static IP

Hi,

I’ve realised that my listening port is partially blocked, and going through the guide of ‘How to Set up Portforwarding & Static IP’ http://www.cometforums.com/topic/3880-how-to-set-up-portforwarding-static-ip/

I’ve managed to get to stage four where I input my IPv4 address etc on the internet Protocol properties of my Network Connections. My problem is that when I input it, a note comes up stating ‘the network address is invalid’.

Can anyone help please?
