Keep geeting a popup about out of date add-ons.When I check, there are 2 incl. Shockwave that say they are out of date.
When I try to update, am brought to Mozilla site and updates are sent to Firefox not Cometbird.
Please help.
There is a way to do it manually, if you do a google search for updating extensions for “portable firefox” you should find a procedure that can be used on cometbird.
Also, development of cometbird was put on hold a couple years ago due to lack of resources. At the beginning of this year the decision was made to terminate future plans to resume development and we recommend users switch to firefox. We are not going to remove access to cometbird so you are still welcome to use it, but there will be no more updates or bug fixes.
